NOTE: Attendance Policy
--Partial Day Absence--A student who is absent from school for more than 15 minutes is considered missing part of a day (for example, tardy in the morning or picked up early in the afternoon) which is counted as a partial day absence. A partial day absence will prevent a student from receiving perfect attendance recognition. --Tardies--Tardies will not prevent a student from receiving perfect attendance but will be cause for disciplinary action (ie: Detention, etc). Information Concerning the Optional Flexible Year Program (OFYP)
The Optional Flexible Year Program (OFYP) is an incentive and student success program. In accordance with Texas Education Code, a school district may modify its instructional calendar to a flexible year program in order to meet the educational needs of its students.
