A Note From the Principal
The new school year has begun and the Menger Staff is ready to take learning to the top--"Taking it to the Top" is our theme for this year. It is always so heart-warming to see the smiles of each of your children as they enter the school building. Although the beginning of the year brings tears for some, it is our hope that together we can turn those tears into excitement for learning.
Joining our Menger Family is Mrs. Charlotte Murray, Assistant Principal, Mrs. Hastings, Kindergarten, Mrs. Mitchell, Fourth Grade, Ms. Petite, Fourth Grade, Mrs. Elizondo, Third Grade and Mrs. Rodriguez, First Grade.
We invite you to become a partner in education by joining our VIPS program and our PTA.

Gifted and Talented Testing Grades 1 - 11
The application for the Corpus Christi Independent School District Gifted and Talented Program is now available for CCISD/private/charter/home school Grades 1 - 11 students. Application forms are available online at
www.ccisd.us and at the following locations: All CCISD Campuses, CCISD office of College and Career Readiness, Administration Building 801 Leopard Street. Applications are due no later than
Friday, November 11, 2011 (noon). Testing will be held on the following dates: January 7, 2012 for private/charter/home school grades 1 - 11 students.January 17 - 27, 2012 for CCISD grades 1 - 11. Remember applications available in the Front Office.
